It's that time of the year...We all as parents struggle with wanting to be a class parent.
Do we have the time?
For which child, if you have more then one in school?
I was class parent last year, is that too much?
First and foremost, you are NOT a bad parent if you can not fulfill the class parent task.
Being a class mom takes some time and requires availability .
For those of us who can not be class parent, you can offer support through out the year with a simple email.
Example( I see Halloween is coming , if you need me to bring something in lmk;).Or.....(If you need an extra parent on the class trip, I am available.)
They may just take you up on your offer for the task.
Aside for the time & work. Being a class parent is fun.
I have done it 3 years for my oldest
&1 year for my other two.
Notice it dwindled down...:)
I loved being in the class room, setting up tables, making fun games, goody bags ect...
If you have more then one child and only were the parent for one, IT IS OKAY:)
Those parents who can not ,my advice is, it's just as nice to reach out and offer help with one of the events throughout the year.
Being a class parent every year ,well that is really nice.
I really appreciate you class parents!!!!
Anyone who gives a lending hand in school, for any of our children, I am very thankful for:)
