At the risk of sounding like a crappy parent, I'm just going to say this right off the bat: I can't stand Halloween.
As a child, I remember planning my costume months in advance, just like my kids now do. I remember the excitement of thumbing through the costume catalogs and circling all of the ones I liked best. As a mom to a four month old and a ten year old, I certainly do. But then, nothing would ever get done. So how about getting the kiddos to nap.

I have lost all my baby weight with each angel we have brought into this world, taught classes until 36 weeks pregnant and as much as I complained, I had very limited complications. I am lucky. Maybe it’s genetics, lifestyle, and a little bit of luck? Who knows…but what I do know is it’s hard…Continue
