In addition to contributing here at Meridian Momtourage, I am the Monmouth County Regional Editor at JerseyBites.com. At Jersey Bites, I write about everything from restaurant reviews to food happenings in and around the county.
My passion for writing and my educational background in English, creative writing and literature led me to start my own blog 2 years ago. Pieces of a Mom is a personal account of my trials, tribulations, successes, and yes, failures as a mother.
In addition to writing, I enjoy photography, reading, traveling, wine tasting, and adventure seeking.
For more dirt on me, visit my About Me page on my personal blog.

I thrived on meeting up with my fellow cheerleaders after school to perfect our pyramids and routines for both high school football and basketball games as well as cheer competitions. It never felt like work, mostly because there was a social aspect to it and I loved the sports I was doing. But once I…Continue

This time of the year fills me with a sort of dread and anxiety that I don't have any other time of the year. It's back to school season. Moms everywhere are in panic mode as we sort through supplies and clothes, dust off our alarm clocks, and attempt to replace some semblance of normalcy in our daily routines.
In addition to all of the above, I am frantically prepping to send my 9 year old type 1 diabetic back to school.…Continue
