So I am 9 weeks post partum with my 3rd c-section. I only gained 24 pounds during my pregnancy. I am lucky. I have not gained more than 28 pounds in my pregnancy’s each time. I have lost all my baby weight with each angel we have brought into this world, taught classes until 36 weeks pregnant and as much as I complained, I had very limited complications. I am lucky. Maybe it’s genetics, lifestyle, and a little bit of luck? Who knows…but what I do know is it’s hard…

I was watching the news last night and saw a piece on how cartoon characters directly effect what our kids want to eat. For example, Tony the tiger, or SpongeBob are on boxes and packaging. If you have young kids, you know how true this is. It is amazing what a character will do to your kids thinking of what is healthy to eat!
