Who the Heck am I? Identity and Motherhood

I am a mom. My daughter can't talk so I'm not yet "mommy," "momma," or "ma" yet, but I am still a mom.I sometimes feel like that's all I am. MOM. What happened to Laura? And who is Laura anyway? It's Not Cool to Raise Your Kid: Attitudes about Stay-at-Home Moms

I've been a mother for three months now. I'm hardly an expert, but I'm quick to learn.Before having kids, I didn't have many preconceived notions about moms minus a few. I thought SAHM's were lucky to be able to be home, and working moms either unlucky because they told me how they hated their jobs and missed being home, or lucky, because they loved their careers and balanced their "two" lives well. Hyperemesis-mess: When Puking Turns Ugly

Before I was pregnant, I ate well. Lean meats--no red meat, greens, whole wheat bread, fruits, and dairy. I never drank coffee...and rarely had alcohol. My diet was very pregnancy friendly.Now?At 29 weeks pregnant, I live on cheese, fruit, ensure, cheese doodles, certain carbs, and salad or string beans. I can't touch meat...chicken...most carbs...most veggies.
