My wardrobe was long over-due for some updating....after going through two pregnancies, and four different sizes, in the last 5 years, I decided that it was definitely time to sort through my closet…Continue

I have a few tried & true crock pot recipes & this dreary weather is making me want to fire them up. But, quite frankly, I am bored by them all! Please share with me your favorite crock pot…Continue

I am a happily-married wife & mom of two amazing kids {7 year old son & 4 year old daughter!}
I’ve been a member of the online community since 2008. A 2010 Nickelodeon Parents Connect Top Parenting Blog nominee, I turned to blogging as a way to vent about my life as the "CEO" of my family. After sharing stories on my "mom blog" for a few years, I came to realize how important it is for busy moms to have a hyperlocal internet source to visit for the latest information on products, services, and things to do with their children, & how worthwhile this source can be for local businesses. It was then that I revised my blog and launched Jersey Shore Families.
Most recently, I've further fed my addiciton to all things social media by studying how important it is for businesses to get online. I've become well verse in the antics of these online tools and have started representing brands as a social media consultant.
When I’m not tweeting, blogging or running my household, I can be found teaching Zumba, reading celebrity gossip magazines, watching chick-flicks, shopping, & spending quality time with friends & family!
I'm thrilled to be a Meridian Momtourage Blogger, and I'd love for you to connect with me on here, on Twitter, and on my blog!

I am not one to make "resolutions." I am the type of person who dives head first without looking into most situations in life. Add that to that fact that I'm also pretty hard on myself and you clearly have a recipe for post-New Year disaster! I find that most resolutions are hard to maintain--it's easy…

It's important to teach our children how to give back to others, especially during the holiday season. Often I hear parents saying that they don't know if their younger children will understand community service, or that they aren't sure the types of projects they can do with their little ones to give back. I thought I would compile a list of 5 simple things you can do with your family to give back this Holiday season.…

At the risk of sounding like a crappy parent, I'm just going to say this right off the bat: I can't stand Halloween.
As a child, I remember planning my costume months in advance, just like my kids now do. I remember the excitement of thumbing through the costume catalogs and circling all of the ones I liked best. I remember coming off the bus and waiting for my mom to give me the okay to start going from door to door in hopes of filling my entire basket with candy that she never…
