As spring (or at least what should be the season of spring... you know the one with sun and warm temperatures) happens upon us, I think it's time to get our kids outside everyday for lots of fresh air, sunlight and exercise. This was a long, cold and snowy winter, so now I like to take advantage of every non-raining day to explore the beauty of New Jersey. Sometimes at night I stare at my children. Their eyes closed, lips slightly pursed, eyebrows relaxed, cheeks red and round. Sound asleep… chest barely rising. If I look long enough, I am able to catch a glimpse of the future. Their faces morph and I am transported ahead fifteen years.
