Thanks for sharing the post below.  I am finding that this is the first school year where organizing is a must for our family.  Most recently, I started that Monday through Friday closet organizer for each of my kids.  On Sunday nights I look at the weather for the week & put their clothes in each section.  In the morning, there is much less arguing about what to wear, etc.  It's been a huge time-saver.  Thanks for the other suggestions, too!

Hi everyone, I wanted to let  you know about a service that can help you downsize on kid clutter. It's Storkbrokers.com, parents answer to ebay and craigslist. Check it out. Easy to post items (there's an app for that) and a community-like feel. Let me know what you think!

Today I rejoined NAPO (The National Association of Professional Organizers). One of the benefits of being a member is the information that's available. Let me share this interesting finding: According to a NAPO Member survey, the top areas in a home where organizing services are most often requested are: Home Office or Den, Kitchen, Closet, Master Bedroom, and the Garage/Attic/Basement areas.
