Where local moms share, learn and grow together.

Between the cold, windy weather and the fact that February is almost over, I've got spring on my mind!  This year, I'll only have a day or two to escape with my kids, so "staycation" it is!  What are your favorite kid-friendly (6 & 8 year olds) somewhat local places to escape to?  We've done Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos, and we loved it, but I'd like to do something new with them this year.

Yours and the other blog post are making me freak out - total lol but I totally forgot about spring break and just realized hubby can't take off. Grrr! Sounds like, for us, Monmouth Museum, bounce places, and playdates will need to be stepped up!!! Mine are younger though... Btw we stayed overnite once by sesame place and did the 2-for-1 tickets and it wasn't $$ and was great to spread out the days. (20% off season passes till march 1 btw)

I wish we had a spring break this year. 4 vacation days were taken back due to Hurricane Sandy. We always take a day to go to the movies. A day is spent at Liberty Science Center. We have a girl's day with manis and pedis. We have a library and lunch day. I'm bummed that we won't be doing our traditional activities this year. :-(
