Summer is in full-swing, school is out and many times you hear your kids saying the ever-popular phrase, "I'm bored." What are some easy, stress-free things that you do to keep your children engaged and active throughout the summer?
Here are some activities for kids Meridian Health has lined up for the summer:
Babysitter training for boys and girls ages 11 to 14. The class includes handling emergencies, first aid and CPR. Fee $40.

Concussions in Young Athletes
Alan Cabasso, M.D., will discuss the signs and symptoms, prevention, causes and treatment options of concussions in young athletes.
July 29, 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Tween Self Esteem
This program is for seventh and eighth grade girls and their moms. It will focus on how to make healthy life choices and the changes girls go through during the teen years. Lord & Taylor will be on hand for a mini fashion show. Dinner will be provided.
August 26, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
