My daughter recently had the stomach bug. She was nice enough to share it with me, my son and even my mother (who doesn't even live with us)! During the cold/flu season what do you do in your house to keep from getting the whole family sick?
I frequently go around the house and disinfect door knobs and light switches
What are your best tips?

I feel like this weather is messing with us a bit, too, because it's not getting cold enough to really keep things at bay. ALthough, I'm not complaining--I LOVE the milder weather. Anyway, I am big on hand washing. Kids wash their hands as soon as they get in from school, and I have those wet ones wipes in my car at all times. I also disinefect things like the grocery carts all of the time too.
Feel better!!

It's been a really tough winter for my children, especially my youngest. She was diagnosed with asthama this winter. Our pulmonologist encouraged frequent hand washing and no sharing of cups, straws, eating utensils, etc. Disinfectants are great, but little ones touch so much that hand washing is the key. My children also keep antibacterial soap at their sides contstantly...because, let's face it, getting them to constantly wash their hands is a battle.
